Alcohol has been confiscated from underage drinkers in a police crackdown aimed at keeping Kent youngsters safe and preventing anti-social behaviour. Neighbourhood teams in Sittingbourne and Sheerness seized alcohol from teenagers on Friday night, before taking them home to their parents.
Officers poured the drink away and advised the youngsters of the dangers of their actions.
Sgt Darren Ryder said irresponsible drinking was putting them at risk.
"This proactive police action will not only help to keep young people safe but also prevent the anti-social behaviour often linked with excessive drinking," he said.
