Thirty year bypass bid continues
Campaigners bidding for a bypass round a Kent village for 30 years are still unsure it will be built after a council decision on a factory was postponed.

If it gets the go-ahead the company H&H Celcon said they will pay for a bypass for Borough Green near Sevenoaks.

The decision on whether to allow a second factory to be built in the village will be made on 16 May after Kent County Council assesses the area.

Residents in nearby villages oppose a bypass being built on green-belt land.
