A railway station on the Kent coast serving cross-Channel passenger traffic is to receive a make-over thanks to money granted from Europe. The scheme for Dover Priory is part of the High Speed Trains Connect project, which aims to boost the bid to bring the high speed rail link to the town.
Nearly �300,000 has been secured for the project, with the money coming from the European Interreg scheme.
Proposals include a new booking hall and improved signs to the port.
There will also be new toilet facilities and improvements to the waiting area for buses and taxis.
The draft proposals are on display at locations throughout the town up until 11 November.
Dover Priory is one of only three stations in the UK to benefit from the High Speed Trains Connect project.
