Stone murder appeal is adjourned
Michael Stone in 2001
Stone is serving three life sentences for the attacks
An appeal by a man seeking to overturn his conviction for the murders of a mother and her daughter has been adjourned.

The Court of Appeal will now hear the case after 15 October.

Michael Stone, 42, was jailed for life in 2001 for killing Lin Russell and her six-year-old daughter Megan.

He will also challenge his conviction for the attempted murder of Josie Russell, who was nine when the family were attacked in Kent in July 1996.
