A 26-year-old man has been charged with the murder of Amanda Champion, whose body was found on waste ground in Kent in July. Factory worker James Phillip Ford was charged by Kent Police at 1832 BST on Friday, a police statement said.
Mr Ford had been arrested at 0630 BST on Thursday morning, officers said.
Mr Ford, from Hunter Avenue in the Willesborough area of Ashford, Kent, is due to appear at Canterbury Magistrates Court on Saturday morning.
Miss Champion, 21, was found dead on land off Mead Road in Ashford on the night of 26 July.
She had been reported missing 11 days earlier and had not been at work for more than three weeks.
Her funeral was not held until 23 September and detectives have at no stage released information about how she died.
