All the money raised from the event went to Breakthrough Breast Cancer
A shopping centre in Kent attracted a different kind of visitor on Sunday.

A 10-kilometre fun run was held in the grounds of Bluewater shopping centre to raise money for cancer.

Sprinter John Regis started the race and former Olympic champion, Steve Cram handed out the prizes.

The event, called RunBluewater, took over parts of the car park which has 13,000 spaces.

Organisers billed the event as one of the biggest family running festivals in the UK.

There were five races altogether including a family fun run, a 50-metre sprint for children and a toddle waddle for the under fives.

All the money collected from the day will go to Breakthrough Breast Cancer.

Peter Hier, even director, said: "It is a culmination of four or five months really hard work with Bluewater and it has just been a running festival - something for all the family."
