Man killed in road crash
A man was killed and three women were injured when two Land Rovers collided in Kent.

The accident happened at 1320 BST on Saturday on the A2070 Hamstreet bypass, near Brenzett Green, Ashford.

The 49-year-old man, from Sussex, died following the accident.

Three women were taken to William Harvey Hospital, in Ashford, for treatment.

A police spokesman said on Sunday that their injuries were not life threatening.

The road, in the Romney Marsh area, was closed for about five hours while the accident scene was investigated, the spokesman said.

The Hamstreet bypass was the scene of another fatal accident on 16 March this year, when a 12-year-old girl was killed.
