Up to 70 homes were flooded after a water main burst in Scunthorpe.

Fire crews were called out to help pump the water out of properties in Grange Lane South after the supply pipe ruptured on Monday morning.

A number of homes in the area were also left without water. Anglian Water set up a major incident room to deal with enquiries.

The emergency services were at the scene for six hours and council representatives also attended.
