'Super-nanny' to curb youth crime
North East Lincolnshire is to get its own "super-nanny" in an attempt to tackle anti-social behaviour.

A child psychologist is being recruited to offer help and advice to the families of children who engage in low level crime.

The successful candidate will work with families in their own homes.

North East Lincolnshire's safer communities partnership has been awarded 50,000 from the Home Office to pay for the post.

Andrew De Freitas, leader of North East Lincolnshire Council, said: "This extra funding will allow us to work even more closely with families at the grass roots level and help us to nip anti-social behaviour problems in the bud among children at a young age."
