Largest drugs campaign for force
Drug paraphernalia (generic)
Special courts are sitting to deal with those arrested
Drugs officers have been raiding addresses in North Lincolnshire as part of Humberside Police's largest campaign against dealers.

Detectives have been targeting people suspected of possessing and supplying class A substances.

Teams of up to 120 police have been taking part and special courts are sitting in Scunthorpe to deal quickly with anyone arrested.

At least 27 people have been arrested since its launch on Monday.

A Humberside Police spokesman said planning for the campaign, known as Operation Skipper, began a year ago.

"A large number of people have been identified as suspected of being concerned in the supply of class A drugs.

"For an unspecified length of time officers will arrest those people suspected of committing drugs offences, search premises and gather evidence," he said.
