Detectives have identified three teenage girls from the Bransholme area of Hull who were killed in a car crash on Friday.

Laura Hill, 16, Rachel Thomas and Kimberly Brown, both 17, were in a Citroen Xsara that crashed in Beverley Road in the early hours.

The car driver, a 21-year-old man, lost a leg in the accident and an 18-year-old girl is critically ill.

A man has been questioned on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving.

He has been released on police bail.
