Heavy snowfall may affect roads
Motorists are being warned of possible disruption caused by snow and ice on roads over the weekend and next week.

The Met Office has issued the warnings of a cold snap which will be followed by heavy snowfall, particularly across east Yorkshire and Lincolnshire.

Sleet and snow showers are likely to start on Saturday followed by heavy snow falls on Sunday with disruption lasting into the following week.

Gritters are set to be out and about on major roads.
