Humber Bridge to be lit in trial
The Humber Bridge could soon be shining as brightly as its contemporaries at night if a trial is successful.

A new lighting method, which uses little energy and causes minimal light pollution, is being trialled on it.

The bridge is the only one of the top 10 longest suspension bridges in the world not to be lit at night.

However, the Lincolnshire Wildlife Trust has said it is concerned about the impact the lights will have on migrating birds and nature reserves.
