| Reports of a UFO hovering over North Hull were sparked after what is thought to have been a hot air balloon which had broken free from its tether. Witnesses contacted Humberside Police after seeing a bullet-shaped object floating in the sky on Sunday afternoon. Police said there had been a report of a suspicious object but decided not to deploy the force helicopter. Files on the case have been closed after a balloon was reported missing.
