Keith Chegwin and Noel Edmonds presented Swap Shop |
Unwanted Christmas presents were recycled in a special event harking back to the BBC's Swap Shop programme. Presenter Keith Chegwin was in Worcester hosting a session where people can swap their unwanted gifts or other goods for a different one.
The session was the first in a series across Herefordshire and Worcestershire aiming to encourage people to recycle.
Mr Chegwin was one of the first Swap Shop presenters when it began in 1976. The show was hosted by Noel Edmonds.
"I had great times on the Swap Shop programme and I'm happy to be helping residents take part in this fun activity that encourages people to reuse," Mr Chegwin said.
Similar events will be held at Kidderminster Town Hall on 9 January and Bromsgrove Newsong Church, on 19 January.
Swap Shop is returning to BBC2 hosted by Basil Brush and Barney Eastwood.
