A major music festival will still go ahead despite recent floods in the area, organisers have said. Up to 35,000 people are expected to arrive for the Big Chill festival, near Ledbury in Herefordshire, which starts on Friday. The event is the county's biggest outdoor event of the summer. A Big Chill spokesman said: "It has absolutely not been cancelled and we are looking forward to a fantastic weekend." Herefordshire was one of the areas worst affected by last week's floods. Major roads were shut for several days and the River Wye from Hereford to Ross was on a flood warning for most of the week. Acts including Mika, Mr Scruff and the Go! Team are performing at the festival.
