Harriers on the road to Wembley

Wembley Stadium
Kidderminster Harriers will be one of the first teams to play at Wembley

Kidderminster Harriers are to become the first Midland side to play at the new Wembley.

Despite losing 3-2 to Northwich Victoria in the second leg of the FA Trophy semi-final they won 4-3 to go through on aggregate.

They will play Stevenage Borough in the final at Wembley on 12 May.

Chairman Barry Norgrove said it would be a wonderful day for the fans and raise much needed funds - and he paid tribute to the work of boss Mark Yates.

"It's a great day for the town," he said. "I'm over the moon, and Mark's done a brilliant job.

"We'll get quite a bit of money for that, which will really help us for next season.

"To go to the new Wembley will be a wonderful day, let's take loads of support and give them something to shout about."
