Kidderminster Harriers will be one of the first teams to play at Wembley |
Kidderminster Harriers are to become the first Midland side to play at the new Wembley. Despite losing 3-2 to Northwich Victoria in the second leg of the FA Trophy semi-final they won 4-3 to go through on aggregate. They will play Stevenage Borough in the final at Wembley on 12 May. Chairman Barry Norgrove said it would be a wonderful day for the fans and raise much needed funds - and he paid tribute to the work of boss Mark Yates. "It's a great day for the town," he said. "I'm over the moon, and Mark's done a brilliant job. "We'll get quite a bit of money for that, which will really help us for next season. "To go to the new Wembley will be a wonderful day, let's take loads of support and give them something to shout about."
