Pill idea to control pigeon mess
Pigeons in a Herefordshire town could be put on the pill in an attempt to clean up the area.

Residents have complained about the mess from the birds' droppings in and around Corn Square in Leominster.

Town councillors say it is a health hazard and one option they are now looking at to control the problem is giving the pigeons contraception.

Another option is a cull, but the council has been warned costs would be considerable.
