| Two Worcestershire MPs are joining forces to launch a campaign aimed at easing overcrowding for rail commuters. Bromsgrove MP Julie Kirkbride and Mid-Worcestershire MP Peter Luff are pushing for an extension to the platform at Bromsgrove train station. A service with more than two carriages cannot stop there at the moment. The Conservative MPs are hoping to gain the support of rail authorities and operators which will be necessary to ensure the success of their campaign.
