Motoring enthusiasts congregated at a village church in Herefordshire to witness an unusual dedication. A stained glass window featuring a Morgan car was unveiled at St Peter and St Paul church in Stoke Lacey.
It was dedicated at Saturday's special service in memory of Peter Morgan, former managing director and chairman of Morgan Cars until his death in 2003.
The village is about 15 miles away from the Morgan factory which is also featured in the window.
Long history
Church warden John Caiger said the Morgan family had a long association with the Stoke Lacey church.
"Peter Morgan's grandfather, Henry Morgan, was rector for 50 years from 1937 to 1987 and his great grandfather was rector from 1871 to 1877.
"The window complements the Morgan stained glass window already installed five years ago.
"Some of Peter Morgan's other ancestors are featured in other stained glass windows in the church."
The window features Peter Morgan, his car, the badge of the Morgan Company and was created by Susan Ashworth.
