The inauguration will take place in Hereford Cathedral |
The final arrangements are being made for the inauguration of the new Bishop of Hereford. Bishop Anthony Priddis, 55, took up his new position in March after the Church of England externally advertised a vacant bishop's position for the first time in its 470-year history.
The congregation will include clergy and representatives from all parishes in the diocese.
The service will take place at Hereford Cathedral on Saturday 26 June.

The Archdeacon of Canterbury will bring the Archbishop's Mandate - the legal instrument authorising the placing of the new bishop in the chair of the cathedral.
Around 18 Anglican bishop's are due to attend the ceremony including three from Tanzania.
Bishop Priddis, a married father-of-three who is a trained biochemist, spent most of his career in the Oxford Diocese.
He was made an honorary canon of Oxford Cathedral in 1995.
A year later he was consecrated as Bishop of Warwick in the Coventry Diocese.
The Diocese of Hereford was founded in 676 and covers the whole of the county of Herefordshire, southern Shropshire and a few parishes in Worcestershire, Powys and Monmouthshire.
