Several unsuspecting shoppers have been caught out by a "sophisticated" cash card scam at a Worcester supermarket. West Mercia Police said 12 people have reported having cards cloned in the last week after using them at Tesco in Warndon Villages.
Officers said the scam involves the use of a small electronic box fixed to the cash dispensing machine to record the details of cards.
Another shopper was targeted at Tesco on Worcester Road in Evesham.
Police said the method being used to copy the card details was extremely sophisticated and difficult to spot.
