Flybe plane
Flybe already fly to Milan, Geneva, Belfast, Dublin and Jersey
About 100 jobs are being created in Southampton as its airport adds four new routes.

The new destinations announced by budget carrier Flybe make Southampton Airport one of the fastest growing airports in Europe.

Flybe has started several routes at the airport recently, doubling passenger numbers in just one year.

The new routes are to Glasgow and to the French destinations of La Rochelle, Limoges, and Perpignan.

The airline already flies to Milan, Geneva, Belfast, Dublin and Jersey.

In total, 16 new routes have been added to the company's five UK bases.

The airline will begin flying on the new routes in May and June 2004.
