Comedian Eddie Izzard has been spotted jogging through Hampshire as part of his challenge to run across the UK for Sports Relief. The performer, who is running 30 miles a day, set off from London on Monday. He will pass through Cardiff, Belfast and Edinburgh before making his return. The comic, 47, who is updating fans using his Twitter page, earlier posted a picture of Pot Lane in Basingstoke. He is being accompanied by a camera crew which is filming a documentary. Sport Relief is a campaign to raise money through sporting events which is then spent by Comic Relief to help vulnerable people in the UK and across some of the world's poorest countries.
