Two residential roads in Barton-on-Sea in the New Forest have been chosen to pilot the zone, which will be launched on Monday, a police spokeswoman said.

Hampshire Constabulary and Hampshire Trading Standards have joined forces to set up the "No Cold Calling" campaign.

The scheme aims to combat the number of people duped by bogus callers.

No Cold Calling is funded by the New Forest Community Safety Partnership.
