Thousands arriving for Cowes Week
Thousands of people are arriving on the Isle of Wight for the UK's premier sailing regatta.

Cowes Week is set to attract more than 1,000 yachts, 8,000 competitors and thousands of spectators from Saturday 30 July until 6 August.

Live bands and street entertainment have been laid on for the week - which culminates in a fireworks display on Friday.

A free courtesy bus has been laid on to and from car parks.

Two Super Maxi yachts have travelled over from New Zealand and Australia, the 98ft Skandia Wild Thing and the 100ft Maximus.
