A yachtswoman hoping to become the first woman to sail solo non-stop around the world the "wrong" way has suffered a setback. Dee Caffari, 32, from Portsmouth, has repaired a faulty autopilot, but is still having electrical problems.
Unless they are fixed the former PE teacher, who is five weeks into her challenge, may have to pull out.
She hopes to complete the 26,000-mile voyage against the prevailing winds and currents in less than 170 days.
Ms Caffari is currently near the Falkland Islands battling her way through the treacherous Southern Ocean.
She is facing some of the toughest physical challenges in sailing, including punishing 40ft waves, extremes of temperature and severe lack of sleep.
