�1m of flood aid to benefit young

Vast areas were under water in the summer
Gloucestershire has allocated �1,007,900 from the government's flood recovery grant to services supporting flood-hit children and young people.

Included are �182,000 for services in Tewkesbury, �10,000 for Cotswold services, �83,555 for Gloucester and �10,000 for Cheltenham services.

Some �10,000 has been given for respite care for families with children with disabilities affected by the flooding.

Schools, children's centres and youth services have also been given funding.
