Police, paramedics and the air ambulance were called to a house at Stowfield Road, Lower Lydbrook, on Wednesday.

The victim, from Cinderford, had been involved in tree-cutting work and later died at the scene.

His death is not being treated as suspicious, and the Health and Safety Executive has been informed.
