Bronze bust of Jack Russell
Jack Russell kept wicket for England in the 1980s and 1990s
A Gloucestershire and England cricket legend has been immortalised in a bronze statue which has been unveiled in London.

Jack Russell kept wicket for England in the 1980s and 1990s. He was named Wisden player of the season in 1990.

The 44-year-old is now as well known for his paintings as his cricket.

His statue was unveiled at the Tower of London. Cricketers Allan Lamb and Courtney Walsh were at the ceremony.
