He was riding along the A435 between North Cerney and Rendcombe on Sunday afternoon when he was in collision with an estate car.

The rider was pronounced dead at the scene. The driver of the Audi car, who was from London, was uninjured.

Part of the road was closed for several hours while police investigated the accident. The coroner has been informed of the death.
