A ban on Cheltenham taxi drivers displaying flags in support of England's football team could be overturned on Friday. Two weeks ago the town council's licensing department told local cabbies they could not fly the flags.
The only signs they are allowed to carry are official Hackney Carriage plates - the council cited safety concerns over the flags.
Now the committee is to meet again to reconsider the ban.
One cabbie told the BBC he was unhappy that the national spirit was being quashed.
