Estate agents will not reveal the name of the buyer or sale price |
Prince and Princess Michael of Kent's multi-million pound manor house in the Cotswolds has been sold. The 18th Century Nether Lypiatt Manor in Bisley, Gloucestershire, was put on the market 12 months ago for 6m.
But after the eight-bedroom home failed to attract any firm bids, estate agents Savills dropped the asking price.
The manor house has now been bought by a mystery buyer, but agents acting for the princess would not reveal how much it was sold for.
The estate includes three barns, garaging and stabling for nine horses, as well as gardens, grounds and paddocks.
The royal couple bought the house in 1980 for about 300,000. They are now expected to live permanently at Kensington Palace.
