A man arrested in Gloucester following a 20-hour sit-in on the roof of a house has missed a court appearance. Barry Chambers, 27, from Tredworth, is being held on remand at Exeter Prison. He faces 15 charges including affray, criminal damage and driving offences.
He refused to appear via video link before Stroud magistrates on Wednesday.
On June 6, 2006, several parked cars were damaged when tiles, bricks and masonry were hurled from the roof of a house in Gloucester city centre.
The incident which followed a nine-mile police pursuit of a stolen car.
The case has been adjourned until Friday when Mr Chambers is expected to appear at Cheltenham Magistrates Court.
