| More than 50 bus routes in the Forest of Dean, currently run by Dukes Travel, are transferring to Stagecoach because the owner is retiring. Drivers from the company, owned by Pat Bevan, have all been guaranteed jobs with Stagecoach which will also buy some of Dukes' coaches. Stagecoach will also take over the Dukes' depot at Coleford stationing some of their own fleet there. The familiar green coaches will also be repainted in the Stagecoach colours.
