Driver injured when car hits deer
A driver was injured when his car hit a deer in the Forest of Dean.

The accident, which happened on Monday afternoon, partially closed the B4226 Speech House Road.

The driver of the car, from Cinderford, was taken to the nearby Dilke Hospital for treatment to minor injuries but was not detained.

Gloucestershire police said the deer suffered a suspected broken leg and was treated by a local vet. The road was closed for about half an hour.
