A state-of-the-art sports academy in Gloucester is due to open on Monday. The multi-million pound centre at Hartpury College will be officially opened by the minister for lifelong learning, Dr Kim Howells.
Athletes will have access to high-tech facilities at the academy which cost around �5.5m.
The centre boasts all-weather sports pitches, a multi-purpose sports hall, aquatherapy and physiotherapy suites and a power gym.
It also has video analysis equipment, which lets players look back at their performance on film.
Gloucester rugby club will also be using the facilities for training.
