Hundreds of people have gathered for the funeral of a rally co-driver killed in a crash during a race. Michael Park, 39, from Newent, Gloucs, died last month when the car he was in hit a tree during the Wales Rally GB at Margam, near Port Talbot.
Mr Park, known as Beefy, was in the passenger seat of the Peugeot 307 driven by his partner, Estonian Markko Martin, when it crashed.
The service was at St Bartholomew's Church in Much Marcle, Herefordshire.
Investigation under way
Co-drivers from the four teams Mr Park has raced with during his career were the pall bearers, dressed in their team colours.
Mr Martin accompanied Mr Park's widow and two children.
The 39-year-old was one of 10 children and had been a regular on the rally circuit since 1994.
An investigation is being carried out into the circumstances surrounding the crash, which happened during one of the final stages of the race.
The rally was halted as a mark of respect, and no winners' celebrations were held.
