Leaflet highlights 'adult abuse'
Alert's Guide leaflet
The leaflet is available at surgeries, hospitals and the council website
A leaflet has been launched to make it easier for people to report suspected abuse of vulnerable adults.

A Gloucestershire council spokesman said most people are aware of child abuse, but abuse of vulnerable adults is also widespread.

"Making people aware of it and letting them know who to contact when an adult is being abused is the first step towards stopping it," he said.

The Alerter's Guide is also available for download on the council's website.
