Ten people were arrested during a week-long police operation to fight credit card fraud in Gloucester. Officers also recovered a quantity of what was thought to be class A drugs as well as around 9,500 in cash, several mobile phones and SIM cards.
The 10 have been released on bail. Two others were released without charge.
A police spokesman said he hoped the arrests would act as a warning to criminals that this type of activity would not be tolerated.
The arrests follow on from six arrests made by officers in April. It is part of Operation Springboard - an enforcement and crime-prevention initiative aimed at tackling key crimes such as violence, burglary, vehicle crime and fraud.
