Future of countryside is debated
The future of a major part of the Gloucestershire countryside is to be debated on Wednesday.

The Touchwood Partnership, an umbrella organisation with an interest in woodland landscapes, is holding a one-day conference on the Five Valleys.

Delegates to the event at Stroud's Subscription Rooms will be given updates on the area and initiatives currently underway in the area.

There will also be a chance to explore other funding initiatives.

Organisations attending include Stroud Community Agriculture, The National Trust Wood School, Stroud End Tithing, The Soil Association and Stroud Valleys Artspace.
