Vandals damage pylon using rope
Vandals in Cheltenham have seriously damaged an electricity pylon carrying 132,000 volts.

Pieces of bottle and metal were attached together with rope and thrown over the pylon cables in Hesters Way industrial estate on Wednesday.

Electricity supplier Central Networks say they do not know who caused the damage, but that they are lucky to have escaped alive.

The damage is not thought to have affected electricity supplies.
