A street trader who sells fast food in a picture-postcard Cotswold town, is facing fierce opposition to his bid to renew his licence. Families in Bourton-on-the-Water claim the business has led to a rise in noise and litter.
They also object to the smell of kebabs and burgers wafting through the town.
Local politicians allowed the firm to set up for a trial period of six months and are considering renewing the license.
Now, a 43-name petition has been handed over to the council.
Campaigners say the van is parked too close to a tourist sign for the town centre and believe it is not a welcoming sight for visitors.
