Some 10,000 Scouts and Guides from more than 50 countries are descending on Hylands Park in Chelmsford for a 12-day youth camp. Eurojam - which celebrates what it means to be a Scout or Guide in 2005 - takes place from 29 July to 10 August. Campers will be involved in activities which include arts and craft, music and games and a food festival. Organisers said the event was one of the biggest international youth camps in the UK for nearly 50 years.
