Dunkirk veterans have inspected a "little flotilla" boat used in their rescue and currently being restored to mark the evacuation's 65th anniversary. The Endeavour is being rebuilt in Great Totham, Essex, ahead of a reconstruction of the historic crossing in the English Channel next year.
More than 100,000 was raised by Endeavour Trust members to restore the fishing vessel from Leigh-on-Sea.
One of the veterans, Bill Reynolds says he is impressed by the work so far.
And the veterans are looking forward to seeing the final restoration of the vessel because it was one of those used to save their lives.
