Marines help earthquake homeless
Royal Marines from Devon are leaving for Pakistan to help the thousands of people made homeless by the devastating earthquake in October.

Marines from 42 Commando in Bickleigh, 3 Commando in Plymouth and Royal Engineers from RMB Chivenor will be building winter shelters.

Their work will focus on an isolated community which has been out of reach of helicopters.

At least 74,000 people died in the South Asian earthquake.

Aid agencies have been warning of a second wave of deaths from exposure, hunger and disease.
