Three homes in a south Devon village were flooded after a water main burst. Firefighters were called to help pump up to 12in (30cm) of water out of the properties in Smithaleigh, between Plymouth and Ivybridge.
One crew from Plympton and one from Ivybridge were called to the scene to operate pumps after the 12in (30cm) main burst.
The burst main, which was discovered at about 0230 BST on Sunday, also caused some flooding on a stretch of road.
