Naval officer found dead on ship
Police have named a Royal Navy officer found dead at a Devon naval base.

The body of Lieutenant Emma Douglas, 29, was discovered on board a Royal Naval vessel at Devonport Naval Base in Plymouth at about 1600 BST on Sunday.

Specialist officers from Devon and Cornwall Police have been called in by the Ministry of Defence Police to take over the investigation of her death.

The results of a post-mortem examination are inconclusive and further tests are being carried out.

Devonport Naval Base is the largest in Western Europe. It covers over 650 acres along four miles of waterfront.
