Search halted after body is found
A search for a man who went missing from a mental health unit in Exeter has been called off after a body was found.

A member of the public discovered the body by the River Culm at Hele at 1700 GMT on Sunday.

Formal identification of the body has not yet taken place, but police say they have called off the search for 26-year-old Daniel Heard.

Mr Heard had been a patient at Exeter's Cedars Unit at Wonford Hospital and went missing last Tuesday.

Police say the death is not being treated as suspicious.

On Sunday, volunteers from the Dartmoor Rescue Group were involved in the search for Mr Heard.
