Concern for missing teenager
Alicia Eborne
Alicia Eborne was last seen on Friday morning
Up to 30 police officers from Devon and Cornwall police are involved in the search for a missing Devon teenager.

Police say they are now becoming increasingly concerned for the welfare of Alicia Eborne, who has been missing since last Friday morning.

The 18-year-old was last seen by her mother at her home in the tiny hamlet of Corntown near Ivybridge.

She has a fair complexion, slim build and is approximately 5 ft 4 in tall with straight, shoulder-length mousey brown hair.

No sightings

She was wearing a black jumper and trousers, a long black coat and brown boots and carrying a green canvas bag.

Detective Chief Inspector Kevin Tilk from Devon and Cornwall Police, who is leading the investigation, says she has never gone missing before.

"It is totally out of character and there is some cause for concern," he said.

"We've put out a fair bit of publicity and have had number of people ringing in with possible sightings which we are following up.

But we've had no confirmed sightings after the time in question and therefore we are desperate really for witnesses."
